The film is an adaptation of Cecelia Ahern's book starring Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler and was shot on location in Ireland and the US. While the production was shooting in Ireland, Jane acted as both photo double and stand in for the character of Holly Kennedy, played by Hillary Swank.
